I’m Julio Mathieu – a qualified personal trainer and nutrition coach. I’m truly passionate about fitness and nutrition and motivated by helping people change their lives for the better.

I started my career as a water sports instructor and qualified as a PT in 2009.
I invested all the money I received from my first paying client into a nutrition course and I haven’t stopped learning since. Over the past 10 years, I’ve taken part in training courses and seminars run by world-class mentors – focusing on subjects such as fat loss, muscle development and psychological change.

During my career as a personal trainer, I’ve helped my clients achieve their goals through motivation, support and a flexible, friendly approach. Most of them have trained with me for many years, achieving remarkable body transformation and fitness levels while improving their self-confidence and wellbeing.

My body transformation journey

High intensity training has been part of my life for a long time, but once I began my own body transformation – and saw firsthand the effects of what I ate and how I trained – it quickly became my main focus.

My fitness journey hasn’t been a smooth ride – in fact, it’s been full of experimentation, trial and error.

I’ve tested many new strategies, training programmes and nutrition plans over the past 10 years. Some worked, some didn’t, but all gave me invaluable insights into how the body adapts and reacts to what we put it through.

My own experience helps me to help others – adapting effective strategies for each client, avoiding the bumps and hurdles that can impede progress, and paving the way for quicker, long-lasting results.
